Travel

PRE-EXISTING
CONDITIONS
The
policy will not pay for losses or expenses incurred as a result of an
injury or illness to the Insured Person which manifests itself during
the sixty (60) days immediately preceding and including the Policy’s
Effective Date, unless the condition is controlled through the taking
of prescription drugs or medication and remains controlled throughout
the sixty (60) day period.
PRE-EXISTING
CONDITION WAIVER
You
can waive the Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion by purchasing this coverage
within 14 days of the date of your initial trip deposit
provided you are under age 70. If you are age 70 or above, your pre-ex
condition might still be covered. Review the questions below. If you answered
no, then your condition is coverable.
Were you treated for a new illness in the last 60 days?
Has your condition worsened or required medical attention in the past
60 days?
Have you received any new medications in the past 60 days; or have any
of your current dosages been changed?
EXAMPLE: I have diabetes and take medication on a daily bases. Will I
be covered?
Yes, as long as you have not had a change in the required medication or
dosage and your diabetes was under control (medically stable) during the
60 days before the coverage was purchased.
