Stand-up Comic/Actor Adam Ferrara can be seen weekly on FX Network's critically acclaimed series "Rescue Me" playing Chief 'Needles' Nelson alongside series star Denis Leary. The series returned for its fifth season this spring.
A nationally touring headliner, Ferrara can be found playing the famed Improv's as well as Catch A Rising Star, Caroline’s in NYC, The Laugh Factory, Punchlines and many other popular comedy clubs across America.
Throughout his explosive stand up act, Adam Ferrara blends brilliant characterizations and hilariously accurate observations with a grace and instinct that are most rare. Ferrara hits the stage like a loose power line and electrifies the room; he is an undeniable talent. Though Ferrara's ease of spontaneity makes his comedy seem effortless, Ferrara has been carefully honing his comedic talent for years; meticulously crafting his material. Ferrara's numerous television appearances acting, down through the years, have included a recurring role on NBC's hit comedy, "Caroline In The City" - playing Pete Spadaro, as well as multiple gueststarring roles on CBS's "King of Queens". Ferrara can be seen alongside "King of Queens" star Kevin James in this year's HIT comedy movie "Paul Blart: Mall Cop".
Most recently, Ferrara can be seen playing 'Needles' Nelson on FX cable network's "Rescue Me" opposite Denis Leary. Before "Rescue Me" Ferrara played Tommy Manetti opposite Leary's Mike McNeil character on ABC's "The Job".
